In 2019 Lauren Mantecón, nationally recognized abstract artist and teacher, launched “Dive Deep” an innovative 10-month Mentorship Program that considers the subconscious narrative of each individual while cultivating technical skills. This program moves away from the typical workshop model and the common linear academic trajectory. Lauren asks her mentees for serious dedication and sincere inquiry from the inside out.

In this exhibition, nine women from across the country were invited to share what Embodying Spirit means to them. Over the past two years, each artist in the group cultivated their individual style and developed a deeper awareness of the soul realm.

This group of women represents a potent collective voice giving powerful artistic expression to the inner spirit.
