Pathway Series
The Pathways series can be understood in part by Robert Frost’s poem “The Road Not Taken”. Paths diverge: which one should I follow? An underlying grid present in some works represents life plans and goals, laid out in straight lines. But life doesn’t always want to proceed this way. Overlaying our plans are everyday choices, large and small, taking us in unexpected directions. Complicated, tangled, hard to discern, with many interruptions. Even paths not taken leave impressions. Inevitably, one path leads to another, creating the journey as a whole.
